APG provides interfaces to virtually any POS connection point. From printer driven interfaces to USB, Serial, and Ethernet, APG provides the connection you need for your system. See below for detail descriptions of the interfaces available. Interfaces can be customized to meet specific requirements.

WiFi Cash Drawer

APG’s Mobile Solution Suite of NetPRO® Cash Drawers: Wireless & Wired Ethernet, and WebSocket Solutions

NetPRO® cash drawers are available in both wired and wireless configurations and will communicate with retailer’s mobile POS devices for cash drawer control. Worried about keeping an eye on the checkout? NetPRO® cash drawers collect the transaction data, supplying the information necessary to identify security issues and to validate cashier training. Concerned about unauthorized or unusual drawer openings? NetPRO® cash drawer access alert features can activate security cameras, time and date stamp security video recordings, and broadcast alert messages to a store manager’s mobile devices.

BluePRO™ Bluetooth Interface for Mobile Cash Drawer Solutions

APG Cash Drawer, LLC introduces the BluePRO™ interface — the 1st ever Bluetooth cash drawer interface. The BluePRO™ interface enables a printer-kick cash drawer to pair with a mobile device. Whether operating in a Thin or Mobile (Thinbility) environment, the BluePRO™ interface allows retailers to wirelessly synchronize and create a one to one relationship between the cash drawer and tablet. The BluePRO™ interface achieves proximity when the mobile device comes within three feet of the drawer.

Interface #320 | MultiPRO® Interface for all 24V printers and terminals


The APG MultiPRO Interface is designed to take a cash drawer and connect, via a variety of interchangeable cables, to the market’s POS receipt printers and terminals. The detachable cable can be changed on-site allowing cash drawers fitted with the MultiPRO interface to adapt to a different terminal or printer. The 320 supports 24V printers and terminals. Available for: Series 100, Series 4000, Classic, Series 6000, Vasario, and POS-Podium

NOTE: MultiPro cables are not included with the cash drawer and must be ordered separately. Please refer to the connectivity guide below to determine what cable you must order.

Interface #420 | MultiPMultiPRO® II Interface for all 12V printers and terminals


The APG MultiPRO Interface is designed to take a cash drawer and connect, via a variety of interchangeable cables, to the market’s POS receipt printers and terminals. The detachable cable can be changed on-site allowing cash drawers fitted with the MultiPRO interface to adapt to a different terminal or printer. The 420 supports 12V printers and terminals. Available for: Series 100, Series 4000, Classic, Series 6000, Vasario, and POS-Podium

Interface #520 | MultiPRO® III Interface for all 12V or 24V printers and terminals


The APG MultiPRO Interface is designed to take a cash drawer and connect, via a variety of interchangeable cables, to the market’s POS receipt printers and terminals. The detachable cable can be changed on-site allowing cash drawers fitted with the MultiPRO interface to adapt to a different terminal or printer. The 520 supports both 12V and 24V printers and terminals, and custom voltage requirements ranging from 7 volts to 38 volts. Available for:
Series 100, Series 4000, Classic, Series 6000, and POS-Podium

Interface #554A | USBPro™ USB HID Class End Node


The USBPro interface is a Plug and Play interface, allowing the user more control over the operation of the cash drawer. Powered by the USB bus, external power is not required; true plug and play connectivity. Drivers allow seamless operation within your software. Troubleshooting and set-up is made easy with diagnostic lights. The USB interface prevents unauthorized devices from opening drawer increasing security. Available for: Series 100, Series 4000, Classic, Series 6000, and Vasario

Interface #484 | SerialPRO® II Interface


The SerialPRO II Dedicated Serial Interface’s unique design will maximize flexibility and eliminate unauthorized openings. Eliminating the need for an external power supply in most applications, it is still available for those applications that require it.

Interface #212 | Smart SerialPRO® Interface


APG’s most versatile interface for serial port applications, Smart SerialPRO Interface is fully programmable to ensure compatibility with all POS software serial interface requirements. It also comes with a “Y” cable giving it the ability to share the serial port with other devices. DIP switches allow quick selection of the desired operating mode and drawer opening command. Helpful indicator lights illuminate to verify power, data received and communication settings.

Interface #182 | ParallelPRO™ Interface


The APG ParellelPRO interface is designed to work with your computer to help create a point-of-sale system. DIP switches allow quick selection of the desired operating mode and drawer opening command. Helpful indicator lights illuminate to verify power and data received. A “Y” cable provided with every ParallelPRO allows port sharing with other devices.

DirectPRO™ Interface

APG Cash Drawer has hard wired, direct connections for virtually any receipt printer or POS system on the market. Ideally suited for economical installs where the printer or POS system is unlikely to change. Simply connect the cash drawer directly into the printer. Upon receiving the proper command from the computer, the printer transmits the pulse to open the drawer.
