The ADK supports one single instance of the APG Model 554/554A USB Interface Cash Drawer. The Install Shield automatically configures a single device (with common LDNs). This version is tailored to single USB drawer environments and includes optional configurable parameters that allow tailoring the OPOS service to the application.

The ADK requires Sun or IBM Java for Windows using JPOS v1.11 controls in Java version 6. The ADK supports a single instances of the APG Model 554A interface Device statistics are stored and reported by the ADK through the Device Service. The ADK provides "Plug-N-Play" (PnP) functionality as it auto-detects and binds to the first instance of the APG Model 554A interface cash drawer found.
