APG Cash Drawer at Vartech US 2010

APG was a proud sponsor at the Vartech 2010 conference. BlueStar’s Vartech USA took place August 29-31 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati. Vartech is always a great venue where vendors get a chance to meet VARS in the ADC, Mobility, POS, RFID and Security technologies. This year was no exception with over 1,000 vendor and VAR participants networking and enjoying Cincinnati. Here were some of the highlights from the show:
- Guest speaker, Jim Abbott was great. Being an Olympic Gold Medalist and Professional Baseball player, he was very inspiring and motivating. I’d highly recommend listening to him talk if you ever get the chance.
- A massive outside party was held in the heart of the city at Fountain Square on a beautiful evening. I can see why they call Fountain Square “Cincinnati’s Living Room!”
- More than 1,000 VARTECH attendees took part in a parade for breast cancer awareness walking from the Duke Energy Convention Center down and into the Great American Ball Park (Home fo the Cincinnati Reds) and around the field during the pre-game festivities. What an experience and a great opportunity to contribute to an important cause! Not a small feat coordinating a parade at rush hour in downtown Cinci.
