APG Cash Drawer’s Garden

APG's GardenersAPG Cash Drawer's GardenSpring and summer have come and gone, and now fall is here at APG Cash Drawer. This year, for the 1st time ever, the APG team came together and planted a company garden. Team members planted many different fruits and vegetables: purple and green eggplant, strawberries, herbs, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet corn, sticky corn, bitter melon, cabbage, lettuce, onions, watermelon, hot peppers, bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, peas, and beans.

Over 20 people participated and they tended the APG garden during breaks, the weekends or after/before work. The APG garden could be harvested by any time by the team members. Planting a community garden was an activity everyone could participate in. It was an even playing field that allowed individuals who don’t normally work together to learn or teach each other different things about gardening.

Now that winter is fast approaching, the garden has reached its end for the season. APG employees are looking forward to next year where they can again plant vegetables, harvest produces, and enjoy the nice weather outside together.
